XYO, UC San Diego, and Changemaker Challenge
Hello there fellow geominers! So i came across this and wanted to share with those who are taking a liking the COIN app and XYO token in general. When I first got involved with these guys I couldn’t help but feel a need for this in our future (this was pre-covid) my thoughts were more align the means of being able to communicate better based on proximity monitors that we hanging around our keychains.
So here we are in COVID times and XYO has partnered up with UC San Diego to put together a contact tracing challenge. That’s right boys and girls, the opportunity to “Develop contact tracing and other pandemic-motivated wellness apps on an incentive-driven, geospatial location platform“.
Synopsis
UC San Diego, in conjuncture with XYO Foundation, with be deploying pandemic-motivated wellness apps on the XYO network. From what it looks like with the adoption and use of the COIN app, XYO has formed and will be expanding their network to better incorporate these apps in volunteer usage of them.
A really intriguing venture that hopefully will pay off for us all as we are all struggling for find a way to remain safe in these contagious times. Let’s not let fear and COVID be the only things we’re contracting though. There is hope and positive actions that can be contagious too. Keep looking up and exploring your world safely.
